2015 Recap!

It's the last day of 2015 and I'm sitting here trying to put into words how I feel about this past year. I'm trying to find a way to accurately explain all that God's done and the many ways He has proved Himself faithful.

Without a doubt, this year has been one of the most amazing for me.  God has taught me so much about Himself and His role as my husband and Father.  He has taught me about forgiveness, loving others, humbling myself, seeing myself as worthy, to rely on Him for provision, and to chase this dream and passion He has created in my heart.

Where all of my words fail to explain what this year has meant, I thought pictures might help reflect it a bit better :)

I had an amazing time at my job in Charlotte! Getting to ride in the planes
was second only to the great people I worked with :)

Celebrating Easter surrounded by some of
the most amazing ladies I know. So
thankful for their hearts and pursuit
of knowing and loving Jesus.

I went to San Diego for a work
conference and had such a blast
with my coworker and friend :)

In June, I attended the last training
with PI before going out to the field,
and I met Nicole and Tyler, who became such
close friends! Kat was my coach and
helped make this whole process much easier.

Celebrating my birthday with one of my favourites.

I got to spend such great time with my sister
and the girls, and Amanda and Joel will
be welcoming baby girl #3 this year!

Due to visa delays, I was able
to see one of my really good friends from VA
get married to an amazing guy.  I'm so
incredibly thankful for their pursuit
of Jesus and His glory in the world!

Last weekend trip to VA visiting Dad and
we were able to take a fun lunch cruise.
Love and miss him (and the sun) so much!

I was able to watch another great couple
make their vows before God this fall! This
girl was such a lovely bride, and not just on
the outside.  She loves Jesus so much
and I'm excited to continue to see
her grow :)

These ladies right here make me smile
and laugh and cry and just thank the
Lord for family. They've been there
for good and bad times, and I miss them so
incredibly much.

My bestie Katie and I discovered our favorite
place in Beaufort, SC this year where we
spent time just relaxing and talking
about life and how amazing our God is.

We also took a spontaneous trip to San Diego
before I left - love silly adventures
with this one!

I was able to attend a family reunion on
my Mom's side, where I found this
little gem: my gorgeous mom
and my Nana :)

I was so blessed to spend time
with these goobers this year. We
love taking selfies and
making weird faces.  No shame.

Last little trip to Boone where we
enjoyed sunshine, "glamping," and
family time :)

Trips to the pool with these kiddos
always made for lots of laughs
and little mini heart attacks for my sister.
Imogen's a bit of a dare-devil :)

God completely shook my identity
this year and allowed me to see
my true worth and value as His
daughter.  My third tattoo represents
this and reminds me that I'm a
worthy daughter of a King - no matter what
lies I'm prone to believe.

Upon arriving in England, I fell in love
with this town of Doncaster.  I love the people,
the markets, the sounds, and the
knowledge that God is going to do
mighty things here.

I celebrated my first British holiday of
Bonfire Night surrounded by new friends
through an amazing church community
that the Lord's provided!

This has become my new normal for spending
time with family back in Carolina. Praise the
Lord for technology!

My first project with PI was a
church planting movements conference!
With attendees from over 16 countries,
it was a wonderful weekend!

I got to spend Christmas in Germany, which has
always been a place I longed to visit, with
Nicole and Tyler. It was truly a gift to be
encouraged and surrounded by familiar
faces from the States!

I met this crazy girl here and God's brought
so much laughter and growth for the both
of us through our friendship and time
as roomies! There's no one I'd rather share
this little cottage with ;)

Here's to 2016 and all the amazing new things God will be doing in and through each of us for our good and His glory!

"Let the favour of the Lord our God be upon us,
and establish the work of our hands upon us;
yes, establish the work of our hands!"
Psalm 90:17
